Order Basic Emergency Kit

Your kits are a foundational part of your preparedness. What you have in your kit, along with your plan and skills, is what you will have to survive in the event of an emergency.
Each person should have a series of kits taylor-made for them. Each kit will contain supplies that the owner is familiar with and knows how to use and care for.
Check out the kits and suggested items by dowloading the Go Kits Checklist at the bottom of this page and start building your kit inventory. If you don't have one, we recommend starting with a Go-Kit followed by your Grab-n-Go Binder and your Evac Box. If you have pets, build their kit with your Go-Kit. Your Bug Out Bag, Car Kit, Shelter In Place and 2 Weeks Ready kits are larger and will require more time to assemble.

If you just need to get a kit and don't have the time to build it yourself, order a 1 or 2 person 3-Day Go-Kit! Rogue Valley Emergency Management has partnered with Friends of Search and Rescue to provide an affordable way for residents to get a kit without having to build one. The kits are sold at or near cost. To order, download the order form below, or call Josephine County Emergency Management at 541-474-5308.
3 Ways to Order
- Email jallemand@josephinecounty.gov with your name, phone number, kit type(s) and quantity. You will pay for the kit(s) at time of pick up.
- Call 541-474-5308 to place an order. You will pay for the kit(s) at time of pick up.
- Mail the form (download and print the Go Kit Order Form below) with a check payable to Friends of Search and Rescue.

Ready Rogue 1-Person Go-Kit
Funded by Friends of SAR
COST: $70
Pack Purpose: 3-Days away from home and without help.
- Suggested additional supplies: *ADD WATER, prescription meds, additional pain meds, cash, extra pair of prescription glasses
- Preparedness Materials
- 2 Food Rations per person (ready to eat - no heat or water necessary)
- *1 Collapsible Water Container (MUST BE FILLED)
- 1 Mylar Blanket
- 1 42 Gallon Blaze Orange Trash Bag
- 1 Hand-Crank Radio/Flash Light/Cell Phone Charger
- 1 Whistle
- 1 Package of Sanitary Wipes
- 1 Toilet Paper
- 1 Hand Sanitizer
- 1 Blaze Orange Bandana
- 1 First Aid Kit
- Pamphlet on General First Aid (included in First Aid Kit)
- 1 Fixed Blade Knife
- 1 N95 Mask
- 1 Duct Tape
- 1 Pair of Leather Gloves
This is a basic kit. It is to help you survive while waiting for help to arrive. To be more comfortable while waiting for assistance consider adding a sleeping bag or warm blanket, socks, a warm hat, your favorite kind of protein bars and sports drinks.
*This kit will help you survive for three days but you MUST ADD WATER. The kit contains a collapsible water storage container that will need to be filled and periodically refilled with clean, fresh water.
Ready Rogue 2-Person Go-Kit

Pack Purpose: help 2 people survive for 3-Days away from home and without help.

- 4 Food Supply (ready to eat - no heat or water necessary)
- 2 Collapsible Water Containers (MUST BE FILLED)
- 2 Mylar Blankets
- 2 42 Gallon Blaze Orange Trash Bags
- 1 Hand-crank radio/flash light/cell phone charger
- 1 Whistle
- 2 Packages of Sanitary Wipes
- 2 Toilet Papers
- 2 Hand Sanitizers
- 2 Blaze Orange Bandanas
- 1 First aid kit
- Pamphlet on general first aid (included in First Aid Kit)
